The Most Popular Electric Barbecue Grill

Electric Grill BBQ's make it possible to grill year round.  Here's the low-down of each grill, based on my own views and those of other owners.

Zojirushi EB-CC15
PROS:
-The maximum setting works admirably for most grilling chores, from chicken or steak to hamburger patties, and delivers the much required customary sear marks as it cooks foods to perfection. -Little to no smoke
-Nonstick cooking surface released foods with nary a stick. The resulting meals are lower in fat and healthier.
-Very even cooking surface, no hot or cold spots, a big advantage over most other electric grills.
-Cleaning is beautifully easy because of the non-stick surface. Just brush or wipe with a damp cloth and your grill is clean. The drip tray and plastic base are dishwasher safe, but also clean easily in hot, soapy water if you wish.

CONS:
-Would be nice to have a lid.
-Not possible set an exact temperature.
-The high setting proved a little too hot for grilling delicate seafood and vegetables, as well as any foods coated in a thick barbecue sauce. So make sure you leave the heat around 3/4 throttle to cook foods like this and turn them on the grill frequently to avoid charring. -Smokes a little like the others, depending on what you are grilling.

George Foreman GGR50B Indoor/Outdoor
PROS:-Simple Setup.
-Good Heat Control.
-Large grilling area.
-Non-stick grilling surface.

CONS:
-Drip tray ought to be larger. If you baste while you grill, this one can fill up quickly.
-Not very easy to clean
- hard to fit in sink due to size.
-A little top heavy when on supplied stand so it can go down easily if bumped.



Delonghi BG24 Perfecto Indoor Grill
PROS:
-Big grilling area.
-Drip pan easy to clean.
-The Non-stick surface works on the money with a light coat of oil.  -Preheats fairly quickly
-Cooking surface heats fairly evenly.
-The glass-top is useful for certain foods and nice to have.

CONS:
-Grill plate aggravating to clean
- not dishwasher safe according to manufacturer.
-Takes up immense of counter space due to size.
-Heating element is built into grill plate so not honestly bbq style
- just a heating element with slits to let out the fat.
-The Glass top does not perfectly fit over the grilling surface and is too shallow.
-Doesn't get hot enough to sear meat.

West Bend 6111 Heart Smart
PROS:
-Includes a skillet area on the grill plate, so smaller grilling area but you have a side part to grill onions or bacon for your burgers.
-The grill piece is dishwasher safe.
-Comes with a cover which is nice.

CONS:
-Cover is relatively flat so thick meats will touch the inside of the cover.
-As with most electric grills not really smokeless... depends what you are grilling.
-Not as searing hot as it should be for thicker meats.
-Somewhat involved to clean because of the small holes in grill plate - soaking in hot soapy water helps though.

Sanyo HPS-SG2
PROS:
-Nice sized grilling area which is perfect for 2 people.
-120 Square inch size is not overly huge like some of the other grills.
-Non-stick grilling surface.
CONS:
-Doesn't really cook evenly. Often times, parts of a piece of meat will be virtually raw while other parts are well done.
-The grill part is coated with a non-stick material but it does get pretty dirty even if you wash it after every use. After quite a few grillings, you have to take time to carefully clean with a small brush.
-Back of the grill isn't coated so gets very stained and dark with repeated usage.
-Paint chips off the drip pan.
-Lack of a lid.

Sanyo HPS-SG3
PROS:
-Cleaning is a breese...just wipe down the hot grill with a wet papertowl and it looks like new.
-Non-stick grilling surface.
-200 Square inch grilling surface for lots of food - good for 3 to 4 people.

CONS:
- The shallow pan is a pain to dump the water after grilling.
- The heat comes from the grill itself and not from under the grill surface.
-The backside of the grill is not non-stick, so is a pain to clean up.
-Smokes a bit-As with it's smaller brother, there is no lid.
- 125 degree jump at the end of the dial makes it difficult to select temps between 300-425-Uneven cooking surface with some cold spots.

This isn't the list of "best to worst", just my own opinion on most popular electric barbecue grill by research customers reviews and experience.

Barbecue Ribs Grill Tips

Grilling Rib Barbecue will take less work and more patience. Is not just a matter of throwing any old slab of meat on the grill burn with reckless abandon.

Must pay attention to the type of ribs they were going to barbecue like baby back, short ribs or spareribs each of them comes with its own secret recipe and cook. Quality of different types of ribs will be helpful in knowing how to prepare the best ribs for BBQ grill. One suggestion is to smother the ribs with a thin coat of mustard then be wrapped and refrigerated for at least 4 hours before cooking.

The next step is to cook ribbing, there are many ways to the start of cooking.

• One option is to cut the ribs into pieces suitable for serving then cooked with the slow cooker for about 10 hours.
• Another way is to place the bones in a large baking tray tightly covered baking in the oven at 225 degrees, about 6 to 8 hours.

If you choose to cook in the oven grill or electric grill ribs, the ribs should be cut in the same manner as in the slow cooker technique and cooking those A period of about 6 to 8 hours.
However the easiest way of the ribs before cooking is to boil them in a large pot. Season with Bay leaves, celery, garlic, chopped onion and liquid smoke 2 tablespoons takes about one to three hours to cook, but the baby back, spareribs take more time to cook.

 Does a good job for the price
I have owned this griddle for 4 1/2 months and use it at least once or twice a week. I use it to cook pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage.

 Fantastic Space-Saving Griddle
Bought this griddle to save space in my apt. Great for company since it allows different temperatures on both sides, plus the heating plates are easy to remove for washing. 

 Don't you love options?

I bought this for my daughter who has 3 boys, a husband and lots of company. Both sides of the griddle work at independent temperatures or can be used together at one temperature. Simply marvelous to be able to cook different items on one grill at their own temperature setting. The only complaint we had was the drip cup for catching extra grease (ex - hamburgers) was really too shallow and had to be watched in case of overflow AND the freight charges were also over-the-top. Aside from that, the product itself was great! Storage is not a problem as it folds up and fits nicely in a regular cabinet with its teflon surfaces protected from other items. Get it - you'll be glad you did.
